Engineer Rizwan Ashraf of M A Textile Private Limited has been elected uncontested and unofficial President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI). Giving provisional results of the FCCI election, Chaudhary Muhammad Nawaz and Ayub Aslam Manj members FCCI Election Commission said Rana Inam Afzal Khan of Sahal Private Limited has been elected as senior vice president while Nadeem Iqbal of Allah Wala Brothers has been declared elected as uncontested vice president.
They said now there would be no polling for the office bearers here on September 22. However, the official announcement of election results will be made during Annual General Meeting of FCCI on September 30, 2014. Earlier, the elections of six corporate class seats were held in which Sheikh Abdul Qayyum, Sheikh Niaz Ahmad, Engineer Rizwan Ashraf, Shaiq Javed, Syed Zia Alamdar Hussain and Asim Shehzad were declared elected.
