Senior politician Mumtaz Ali Bhutto on Wednesday parted his ways from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Talking to media persons, Bhutto said that he has convened a meeting of central committee of Sindh National Front (SNF) to take a decision about his future political career. He said prospects of PML-N in Sindh are bleak as the party has failed to help resolve problems being faced the people of Sindh.
Replying to query, he said public demand regarding mid-term elections should be accepted. Sources said Mumtaz Bhutto is likely to join Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) shortly after holding a meeting of SNF's central committee. Mumtaz Bhutto was unhappy with the leadership of PML-N as the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who is also the party chief, has reportedly ignored him while taking major decisions concerning the party affairs, they added.
They also claimed that the PTI has offered him (Bhutto) a key post in the party's Sindh chapter, which prompted him to quit PML-N to resurrect his career from a long political slumber. PTI Chairman Imran Khan has already approached him in this regard, they added.
