Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PAT chief Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri would contest the local government elections in the name of revolution and independence. Speaking to media, Rafique said 'Go Imran Go' slogan has been turned into 'Ro Imran Ro'.
Referring to slogans raised against Javed Hashmi in Multan, he accused PTI's 'hooligans' of harassing people even at funerals. He said that political parties should hire trains for their rallies so that it could increase the Railways' revenue. To a question, Rafique said that one or two bogies could not be given and that Sheikh Rashid will have to book a full train. The minister said that Pakistan Railways was formulating a policy to give compensation to heirs of passenger who lost their life in an accident.
