Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) has excused itself to provide gas to the CNG sectors of Punjab on the second and third day of Eid-ul-Azha. According to SNGC, Qadirpur Gas Field is closed for annual maintenance work due to which there is low supply of gas within the system and is impossible for the company to provide gas to the CNG sector. It should be noted that the federal government had ensured earlier that gas supply will remain uninterrupted throughout the three days of the festive occasion.
