OGDCL's privatisation: government to challenge PHC stay order in Supreme Court

The government on Sunday decided to challenge a Peshawar High Court's (PHC) order staying sell-off of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited's (OGDCL) shares in the Supreme Court, a private TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the channel, the Privatisation Commission will file a petition in the Supreme Court on Thursday, challenging the PHC's order. Privatisation Commission sources informed that the schedule of the 'road shows' have not been changed and it will go ahead as planned. The government intend to sell 10 percent stakes in CGDC.
