A caravan of the 'Inqilab March' from sit-ins at D-Chock of Islamabad will leave to participate in the rally in Faisalabad to be addressed by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri. The caravan will leave for Faisalabad at 10: 00 am on October 12.
PAT chief Tahirul Qadri on Friday asked his activists to wrap up tents from D-Chowk and near the Supreme Court of Pakistan and install their tents near the PTV building, however warned them to remain in and around the sit-in venue. "On October 12, a historic rally will be held in Faisalabad. A new phase of revolution will begin from Faisalabad," Qadri told his supporters at the sit-in.
He aid the sit-in would continue at Islamabad, adding that some workers were being sent to Faisalabad for preparation of public meeting. He said after the Faisalabad rally, he will again come to Islamabad. Qadri said now the 'Inqilab March' will go to every city and village of the country to motivate the people.
"We will continue rising our voice against the corrupt system. I am sending my workers to every part of the country to spread message of revolution," he said. The corrupt system had to be rooted out from the country with the tireless efforts of PAT workers, he added.
Qadri said he will address the participants of sit-in in the evening on October 13 through video link. He said he would also go to the Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore from the sit-ins and likewise visit every district. He said PAT workers were also busy in helping the flood affectees. He congratulated Malala Yousafzai for wining the Nobel Peace Prize. Earlier, a ceremony of 'Nikah' (marriage) was held in the sit-in. Bridegroom Muhammad Zeeshan belonged to Rawalpindi while bride and her parent specially came from Kuwait to attend the ceremony at D-Chowk of Islamabad. Tahirul Qadir prayed for bride and bridegroom.
