Like other parts of the country, on the call of its Chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, activists Jamatul Dawa Pakistan Friday held a protest against the unprovoked shelling on Sialkot sector, by Indian border security forces. The protesting activists led by Jamatul Dawa local leaders Ghazi Inamullah, Hafiz Samiullah, Atiqur Rahman Chohan and Sadaqat Hussain were holding placards and banner inscribed with slogans against the India security forces unprovoked shelling in Sialkot sector.
Amid chanting slogans against Indian government for shameful policy of targeting innocent people across the line of control, they gathered here at main Saddar road outside press club. The protesting workers were of the view that Indian security forces' shelling upon civilian population across the border was openly aggression and terrorism. During the Eidul Azha holidays and in absence of Pakistan's security forces, aggression of the Indian army was an unannounced unilateral war against Pakistan, they added.
They alleged that India continuously busy in aggravating law and order situations through its aggressive acts, adding India using 'hydro-bomb' by letting floods towards Pakistan, or either starting unprovoked shelling upon civilian population on working boundary. They asked the government to end its silence and stop the Indian aggression. They also asked the government to take the issue of the US drone attacks in Pakistani territories.
Meanwhile, activists of Shabab Milli, a Jamaat-i-Islami affiliated group, and members of the Provincial Youth Assembly also separately protested the Indian aggression upon the line of control. They strongly condemned the Indian government and security forces for its unprovoked shelling and indiscriminate firing upon civilian population in Sialkot sector.
They were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the aggression and asking the government to retaliate the aggression with full force. The protesting activists also raised their full throated slogans against the Indian government. They asked the government to take the issue at international forum and sever diplomatic ties with the newly elected Modi led government.
