Black day was observed on Friday throughout Azad Jammu and Kashmir against unprovoked firing and shelling of Indian forces from across the LoC and working boundary on civilian population. Protest rallies and demonstrations were held in all district and Tehsil headquarters of the Azad territory. In Muzaffarabad, a big protest rally was held at Central Press Club.
Leaders and representatives of political, social, religious organisations and Kashmiri refugee organisations participated in the rally. Speakers on the occasion strongly condemned the unprovoked firing and shelling of Indian forces across the LoC and working boundary.
