An upward trend prevailed on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was higher by Rs 250 to Rs 9500, they said. Moong Afghan followed same pattern, picking up Rs 750 to Rs 10750, other items maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the seeds side, Til small shed Rs 200 to Rs 5800, the cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type appreciated by Rs 50 to Rs 1300 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 1325, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and rice sectors, they said.
