I would like to extend my heartiest felicitations to all the members, students and management of ICMA Pakistan for organising "Corporate Pakistan." ICMA Pakistan has made commendable contributions in fulfilling its aim to provide high caliber professional Cost & Management Accountants. It is also to be commended for inculcating the passion for learning and excellence in the cost and management accountancy professionals.
It is pertinent to mention that trade exhibitions do not only present and sell products to customers but in conjunction with professional industry group meetings, they afford the sellers an opportunity to interact with notable industry associates, key professionals and other important personalities. All these groups are important actors in the international markets and they can minimise substantially the company's entry barriers there.
I also feel that professionals from various facets working with the government are making efforts to create conducive business atmosphere, to reduce the cost of doing business and removal of irritants at various levels. I am glad that ICMA Pakistan is playing its due role in the country's progress by supporting the government in implementing high quality of international accounting and auditing standards and for implementation of other best practices generally and globally. I wish ICMA Pakistan a future full of continued success in all professional endeavours.
