Security forces on Sunday dropped pamphlets in the Khyber Agency from the air, inscribed with warning to militants to surrender their arms within three days or face stern action. The pamphlets state categorical warning to militants, asking them to surrender arms within 72 hours or brace for the military operation.
It may be noted here that at least 50 militants have surrendered to the security forces in Bara subdivision of Khyber Agency amid an ongoing security operation, named Khyber-I. Besides, around five suspected militants were killed in an exchange of fire with the security forces in Khyber.
