With the confirmation of dengue virus in another woman the total number of dengue virus affected patients surged to 303. According to the spokesman for the Department of Health, Swat district, Dr Haider Ali, dengue virus has been confirmed in another patient, Tasleem, 25, resident of Saidu Sharif during last 24 hours.
The patient has been admitted to the specially established Dengue Ward at Saidu Sharif Hospital.
He said that this year 303 patients were affected by the dengue virus and till now 301 patients have been discharged from different hospitals after getting treatment. Two patients were still under treatment in Saidu Sharif Hospital.
