Unknown armed men shot dead three people and injured two others in Mirpurkhas, here on Sunday. Police sources said unidentified miscreants, riding on a motorcycle, opened indiscriminate fire on a car in front of Gama stadium, killing two persons on the spot while three others were critically wounded. The identity of the dead has been ascertained as Allanoor Malah and Sunail Sothar.
The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas where one, Mehboob Marri, succumbed to his injuries.
Tension gripped the area, following the killings. Rangers started patrolling in different areas.
