Alike other parts of country, the 10th Moharrum-ul-Haram would be observed with profound mourning in Hyderabad and its adjacent areas on Tuesday (today). As many as 712 small and large processions would be taken out from different areas in Hyderabad while main procession would be organised at Kadam Gah Moula Ali which would end at Karbala Dadan Shah after passing different routes of the city.
The rest small and large processions would merge with main procession at different routes and in addition to this, 783 Majlas would be held at different places. The district government has finalised all arrangements in wake of observing Moharrum-ul-Haram in Hyderabad and its adjacent areas to avert any eventuality. More than 3000 police and 700 Rangers personnel have been deputed for security of procession and Majlas.
Aside from this, fifty cameras have been installed at routes of procession in the city to monitor the routes of processions. Moreover, already the emergency has been declared in hospitals on the occasion of Maharrum-ul-Haram. The camps of Sarbat and water sabeels have been set up on the routes of the processions and Niaz would be distributed among people and mourners.
