The KP Governor, Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan has congratulated the entire nation, the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA in particular on peaceful conduct of Muharramul Haram.
All this, he added, has become possible because of the appreciable level of the unity and cohesion witnessed amongst the religious scholars; ulama-e-karam and the social organisations, coupled with the effective and efficient role contributed by the security forces and above all the better strategy of the Government in talking the task.
In a press statement on Wednesday the Governor has said, the personality and sacrifices of Hazarat Imam Hussain (R.A) are not restricted to a particular school of thought rather the immortal sacrifices offered by the martyrs of Karbala are equally sacrosanct for the entire Muslim Umma.
Therefore, he added in the prevailing circumstances, there is also the dire need that the entire Muslims Umma, the Pakistani nation in particular must maintain the same level of the spirit of unity, solidarity and brotherhood in their ranks and files as was witnessed during the Aushura-e- Muharramul Haram.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan has expressed his deep condolence on the sad demise of the renowned religious scholar and a veteran leader of Tableeghi Jamaat, Maulana Jamshaid who breathed his last the other day. While expressing his heartfelt sympathies with members of the bereaved family, the Governor has also mentioned the services which the deceased had rendered for promotion of the Islamic teachings and said that his valuable contribution will be remembered for a long time to come. The Governor has also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with patience.
