Lady Health Workers from Tadno Allahyar held a sit-in in front of press club here on Wednesday and demanded for the regularisation of their services, accusing the provincial co-ordinator of red tapism and corruption. They said that all lady workers in Sindh were issued orders by Sindh government in July 2012 to be regularised in their services but the provincial co-ordinator of LHW program Roshan Bhatti was regularising only those who were allegedly paying him bribe.
Protesting LHWs leaders, Siddiqua, Shama, Fatima, Neelofer and Bashiran told media persons that in Tando Allahyar they were 500 lady health workers but only 150 had been regularised after paying bribe while others as they could not afford the payment of bribe to the provincial co-ordinator were still deprived of regularisation of their services which was their right. They demanded Sindh chief minister to take the notice of the situation and get them regularised.
