During the ongoing campaign to curb the power pilferage, PESCO's Checking Teams with the collaboration of PESCO Police, nabbed 20 more persons using direct hooks. Pesco Special Magistrate sent these accused to Central Jail Peshawar on judicial remand.
There names are: Ibni Amin S/o Shahzada, Liaqat Ali S/o Raz Ali, Jalil Haider S/o Naguman, Juma Khan S/o Bakhtiar, Shahzada S/o Zaman Shah, Noor Ul Huda S/o Shamroz Khan, Rahat Ullah S/o Haji Faraz, Sabz Ali S/o M.Rasool, Wazir Bagh S/o M.Ali, Mamoor Khan S/o Said Lal, Abdul Satar S/o Umer Khetab, Nooran Shah S/o Zari Dad Shah, Murad Shah S/o Mumraz Khan, M.Ilyas S/o M.Ishaq, Pervez Khan S/o M.Nazir, Aman Khan S/o Baz Gul, Liaqat Ali S/o Bakhshad, M.Bashir S/o M.Rafique and Wahid Gul S/o Banaras.
PESCO has once again warned electricity stealers to stop power pilferage in the larger interest of the nation, due to which PESCO has to face huge financial & line losses on the one hand and on the other hand PESCO's whole distribution system gets over loaded and the general public faces inconvenience of frequent power break downs.
Meanwhile, PESCO informed that due to necessary maintenance work, power supply will remain off from 132 KV Peshawar University Grid Station on 6th November from 8 AM to 12 PM, resultantly consumers of 11 KV Saifuid Dheri, Rigi, Nasir Bagh, KTH, Academy Town, Rahat Abad-I, Gharibabad, Agriculture University, Circular Road,Hayatabad-4 feeders will face inconvenience.
