The protest sit-in of lady health workers of Tando Allahyar entered 4th day on Saturday. Dr Siddiqua Muzaffar, leader of LHW and Ashraf Noonari central leader of Sindh National Party led the sit-in protest. The protest camp was visited by MQM MNA Syed Waseem Hussain, PML-N district president Hanif Siddiqui, Sui Southern Gas company union Sindh vice president Saeen Bux Dino, human rights activist and civil society leader Punhal Saryo, Mustafa Baloch, Shahnaz Sheedi of SAP-PK and others and expressed solidarity with the protesting lady health workers.
They were demanding regularisation of their jobs. Ashraf Noonari criticised the government for not accepting the lady workers' demand for regularisation of jobs. Siddiqua and other speakers criticised the government for not issuing regularisation orders despite of SC orders. They appealed to chief justice, governor of Sindh, chief minister to take notice and resolve the issue.
