Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys' Association (AMUOBA) has achieved commendable success for securing its objectives. This was stated by the President of AMUOBA Engr Muhammad Adil Usman while addressing the annual general body meeting of the Association here on Sunday.
He said pursuing Sir Syed Ahmed Khan's mission we have laid the foundation stone to a grand project 'Sir Syed Tower' that would contribute significantly to both knowledge acquisition and knowledge creation. He said initial funds to start construction of the Tower have been provided but more fund are required to complete the mega project and definitely need monetary support from the philanthropists for "the divine cause."
The Association President informed the participants that Sir Syed University had introduced four new technologies, that is, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Architecture and Bioinformatics while construction of the 8-storey Nizami Hall is in the final stage. Treasurer SSUET, Salman Sualeh presented the audited accounts of the Association.
