A leader of Muslim League-N and MPA Rana Sanaullah has said that Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been constituted according to the law. "JIT is not formed on the desire and demand of any party of the case. When called, the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister and all persons nominated in FIR will appear before investigation team/court," Rana said while commenting upon the statement of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Rana Sanaullah said the statement of Tahir-ul-Qadri that Dr Tauqeer was being sent abroad for making him approver, was baseless. He said Dr Tauqeer was not nominated in the FIR, how he could become an approver. He said revolution did not come with the sit-in of Tahir-ul-Qadri but it caused loss to national economy.
He said there was no conspiracy or planning behind Model Town incident. Rana Sanaullah said if Tahir-ul-Qadri did not believe in constitution of JIT, then he could make an appeal to Home Department or court. He said Tahir-ul-Qadri could approach to the court for registration of FIR of his own choice and there was no hurdle. He said if Tahir-ul-Qadri wanted to make Model Town incident a topic of press conference or speech of a public meeting then it was other thing.
