A petition against the arrest of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf workers has been filed before the Lahore High Court here on Thursday. A citizen submitted in his petition that Punjab government wanted to fail PTI's public meeting to be held in Islamabad on November 30 and for that purpose, it had ordered police to raid at the houses of PTI workers and arrest them.
He said the arrest of PTI workers was illegal as every citizen had his right and liberty of movement. The petitioner therefore prayed to the court to direct the Punjab government not to arrest PTI workers.
