ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance Mohammad Ishaq Dar Sunday directed the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to prepare an assessment report on impact of reduction in petroleum prices. Chairing a meeting at the FBR headquarters, the finance minister directed the FBR officials to present an exact report on the relief provided to general public through reduction in petroleum products.
He also asked for details on the revenue loss being incurred due to reduction in petroleum products and its impact on the budget and divisible pool and to suggest measures to partially recover the losses. The FBR will submit a detailed product-wise report on reductions so far being given to the consumers by Monday, said a ministry press release.-PR
