ATA cases reviewed for sending to military courts

DIG Hyderabad Range, Sanaullah Abbasi has held a meeting with all SSPs of Hyderabad Range along with their PDSPs with regard to the ATA cases which are pending before the ATA courts. Sanaullah Abbasi reviewed the cases of the ATA of Hyderabad Range, to be sent/recommended to the Military Court.
He issued necessary directions to all SSPs to educate their IOs to investigate all the cases of Anti Terrorism Courts with the consultation of Special Public Prosecutor of the ATA court, honorary Advocate and PDSPs so that criminals/terrorists could be convicted. Sanaullah Abbasi further directed all the SSPs to conduct a training workshop in their respective districts to enhance the investigation skills of IOs in order to conduct a concrete investigation of all the ATA cases.
The purpose of holding meeting is that no terrorist could be released due to improper/defective investigation of IOs. The following cases of Anti Terrorism are pending before Anti Terrorism Courts. Hyderabad 58, Matiari 8, Jamshoro 35, Thatta 20, Badin 9, Sujawal 8, T A Yar 7, Dadu 26. Total 171.
