A former technician of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Khalid Mehmood, was hanged to death in Adyala Jail here on Friday night. Sources said that Khalid Mehmood, son of Ahmed Khan, was convicted for his involvement in the attack on the then President Pervez Musharraf on December 14, 2003 on Airport Road, Rawalpindi.
Khalid Mehmood, who was convicted by a military court and waiting for death sentence, moved his mercy petition to the President of Pakistan on December 22, 2014, which was rejected. Khalid Mehmood hails from Chakwal. He was associated with 310 GC Wing of PAF.
