The first train of 150MMCFD at UCH Gas Project Phase II has been successfully completed and gas supply to UCH Power Plant is operational. Ashraf Anis, GM Projects OGDCL, told Business Recorder that gas supply to UCH power plant has been started with the completion of the first train and work on the second one is underway.
However, he dispelled the impression that the completion of the second train has been delayed due to financial constraints. Instead, he said, gas supply requirement for UCH power plant is being sufficiently met by the first train and the second done would be operational in next two to three months.
