A bar member has approached the Lahore High Court seeking judicial inquiry into the petrol crisis. The petitioner Safdar Shaheen Pirzada also asked the court to immediately suspend petroleum minister and secretary for their criminal negligence in the matter. He alleged that the government has created artificial shortage of petrol and defrauded the nation of billions of rupees. He said the shortage of petrol would soon cause an overall crisis like situation in the country.
