RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 21,414.58 points with a positive change of 2.51 and volume of 73,918,900 shares. High and Low were 21,498.43 and 21,142.82 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 23 were up, 6 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 103,893,040 shares. Total companies traded were 320 of which 170 were positive, 123 were negative and 27 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 41,079,000 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 10,939,550 shares.
