Expressing annoyance over inability of the Capital Development Authority (CDA to take action against encroachers, the Supreme Court on Tuesday summoned civic body Chairman Maroof Afzal in the matter on Wednesday (today). A two-member bench headed by Justice Jawwad S Khawaja issued these directives while hearing a petition filed by a private company, Bridge Factor, against the Islamabad High Court (IHC) verdict on commercial usage of a residential area in various sectors of Islamabad.
Seeking comprehensive report in the matter on February 09 the bench summoned the CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal on February 04 (today).
