A declining trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of moderate trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Gur shed Rs 200 to Rs 5100-5800, Khandsari fell sharply by 500 to Rs 6500, other commodity items maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the seeds side, Til low type lost Rs 100 to Rs 4450 while the good type held last level at Rs 4900, Til small followed same trend, losing Rs 300 to Rs 4400, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was inert at Rs 1350 while the best type shed Rs 5 to Rs 1375, they said.
On the grams side, yellow peas Russia fell by Rs 50 to Rs 3950 and yellow peas Dall Russia also shed the same amount to Rs 4350, grams 50x50, however, picked up Rs 50 to Rs 5530, grams Dall 50x50 also gained the same amount to Rs 6150, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type dropped by Rs 50 to Rs 2650 and best type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2700, they said.
