WWB employees, teachers demand regularisation

Demanding of the government for regularisation and other allowances, dozens of contract employees and teaching staff of Workers Welfare Board (WWB) held a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Thursday. The protest was headed by Younas Marwat, President WWB School and Colleges Employees Association, Zeeshan, General Secretary, Jawad, Abdullah, Ibrahim and Liaqat Ali along with scores of teachers and employees of WWB.
They were holding placards and banner inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands. Talking to media persons, Younas Marwat critcised the government was using delaying tactics in regularisation of their services. He said that the despite the protest, no practical step was taken to fulfil their demands. The protesting employees warned that the government to boycott from duties during the upcoming annual examination and would launch a protest drive, if the demands was not fulfilled.
