A video of the clashes went viral on social media on Sunday, in which protesters were seen trying to break into Sharif family's house after Nawaz Sharif arrived there. One protester threw a shopping cart at PML-N member Ejaz Gul. The British Metropolitan Police arrived at the scene and initiated a search operation against protesters.
PML-N UK President Shakoor Khan alleged that the protesters belonged to the rival party. Later, PTI UK wing strongly condemned and denied involvement of any of the party workers in the mob attack.
PTI officials are adamant that the ongoing protests on Avenfield property are being held by Pakistanis, who are protesting against Sharif for his involvement in corruption charges.
Rightful owners of Avenfield appt. i.e the Pakistanis protest outside the Avenfield appt. Sharifs must vacate this property as it belongs to Pakistan as of now. #FallOfGodFather https://t.co/3X9PmDxEmE

The protests against Sharif began in London after an accountability court sentenced Nawaz, his daughter Maryam and his son-in-law captain (retd) Safdar to 10, eight and one year in jail, respectively, in Avenfield case.
