Director General Sindh Rangers Major General Bilal Akber has said that law and order situation in Karachi has improved considerably after initiation of the targeted operation by Rangers against the criminals. Speaking at a meeting of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), he said that patrolling had been increased to keep vigilance which proved to be a better move in curbing crimes.
He said that police and others agencies had agreed to follow the guidelines given by the Rangers for improving of law and order situation in Korangi and other areas of the city. Patron-in-Chief KATI S. M. Muneer said that industrialists and businessmen were worried due to law and order situation, but after Rangers' operation the situation had improved considerably.
He said that the shortage of water was getting serious with each passing day. He underlined the need of immediate activation of military courts. Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan said that Rangers and Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif had played positive role in improving the situation in Karachi. Unfortunately, few people don't like this positive change.
He said that the nation was behind Pakistan Army and Rangers as they were doing effective operation against terrorists. President KATI Rashid Ahmed Siddiqui said that Army Chief General Raheel Sharif would be remembered by the nation for launching effective operation, Zarb-e-Azb, against terrorists. Mian Zahid Hussain and Chairman KATI's Law & Order Standing Committee Nadeem Khan also spoke. Senior Vice President KATI Tariq Malik, Vice President KATI Tariq Islam Baghpati, Zubair Chhaya, Farukh Mazhar, Ehtesham Uddin, Johar Qandhari and others were also present on the occasion.
