Senate polls: Achakzai seeks expulsion of MPAs backing independent candidates

Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) head Mahmood Khan Achakzai on Tuesday called for expulsion of MPA proposing independent candidate for Senate's elections. This he said while speaking to Federal Railways Minister Mahmood Khan Achakzai in Quetta. "The buying and selling of candidates is a bad process in politics," he stated. "We want to strengthen transparent democratic culture in Pakistan."
"Those proposing independent candidates should be thrown out of their parties," he suggested. Speaking on this occasion, Rafique commended Achakzai's principled politics. "We should take the democratic process forward in a positive manner," he said. The minister said that those using money in Senate's elections would be strongly dealt with.
