Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested 77 alleged criminals in different targeted raids and encounters conducted at various parts of metropolis during last 24 hours. Police said that these raids carried out as a part of Karachi Operation led to the arrests of 77 criminals involved in various criminal activities. During the raids police arrested 11 criminals under Arms Act. 11 were arrested under Narcotics Act, 11 absconders, eight dacoits, two murderers, and some 34 others were also arrested during the said time period.
Police further said that they recovered 16 handguns, 2135 gram Hashish, and two bottles of liquor from the possessions of criminals.
