Reconciliatory Jirga ends old enmity

A reconciliatory Jirga ended old enmity between two rival groups in Bana Mari. The reconciliatory Jirga comprising Maulana Nek Mohammad, Maulana Abdul Rauf Jan, Maulana Abdul Rehman and Mohammad Ibrahim Qasmi was held here with Haji Ashraf in the chair. The Jirga reconciled long standing enmity between the two rival families of Nusrat Shah and Mohammad Omar, which have claimed the life of one person from each group and hurting four persons from each group.
Both rival groups forgive each other and pledged to live the life of peace and friendship with each other. Local JUI-F Ameer Haji Ashraf attributed the reconciliation between the two groups as big progress towards peace in the area. He appreciated the role of the Jirga members for making efforts in this regard.
