The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has extended working hours for Company Registration Offices (CROs) for transaction of business with the public. In this regard, the SECP has amended Companies (Registration Offices) Regulations 2003 through an SRO 12 (I)/2015 issued here on Friday.
According to the notification, the Company Registration Offices shall observe such working hours as may, from time to time, be approved by the Commission, and shall, with the exception of public holidays, be open, for transaction of business with the public from Monday to Friday, from 09:30 am to 1:00 pm and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Earlier, the Company Registration Offices shall observe such working hours as may, from time to time, be approved by the Commission for those offices, and shall, with the exception of public holidays, be open, between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm from Monday to Friday, for transaction of business with the public.
