The Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted US Consul General Brian Heath and members of the US Consulate General Karachi's Political and Economic Section for dinner to discuss advancing US Pakistan business, trade and investment ties. Earlier, Heath and his team met with provincial government officials to talk about economic priorities.
"The United States hopes," said Consul General Heath, "to see a united, strong Pakistan where all of its citizens, from all of its provinces, enjoy access to economic opportunities." Heath also stressed that: "The United States shares your vision of a peaceful, prosperous Balochistan province. It is in both our countries' interests that Pakistan succeed economically."
