Seven soldiers have embraced the martyrdom and 80 militants have been killed during the ongoing operation in Khyber Agency, the army spokesman said on Saturday. ISPR chief Major-General Asim Bajwa on his official Twitter said that in Khyber terrorists being dislodged from bases and were fleeing to border areas.
"So far 80 terrorists killed and about 100 injured in this phase," he said.
"Seven soldiers embraced Shahadat valiantly," he said, adding that the operation will continue with full force till total terrorist eliminated from these areas.
The ISPR spokesman said that the operation made steady progress and heavy losses incurred to terrorists. The operation will continue to clear areas further close to the Pak-Afghan border.
