LONDON: Spot trade was thin on Friday after a flurry of deals during the week as traders wait to see the size of the September loading programmes due out next week.
Trading sources said Shell had lifted force majeure on Nigerian Bonny Light on Friday. A spokesman for Shell did not immediately confirm this.
The force majeure on the grade had been in place for nearly two months.
Total was offering a cargo of Angolan Girassol at dated Brent plus 60 cents, on a par with a recent ExxonMobil offer for the same grade, and a cargo of Nigerian Bonga at dated Brent plus $2 a barrel.
Chevron was still said to be offering its Cabinda cargo loading Aug. 23-24.
Only a handful of Angolan cargoes are left from the August programme.
