Habib Bank Limited (HBL) has signed an agreement with Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited (JGI) to launch HBL Cash Mehfooz for HBL customers. HBL Cash Mehfooz provides protection benefits on the occurrence of burglaries or mugging attacks after making cash withdrawals via ATM or over the counter. In addition, it provides coverage for other valuables, medical expenses and accidental death nation-wide.
The agreement was signed by Faiq Sadiq Head Payment Services, HBL and Tahir Ahmed Managing Director & CEO, JGI. The event was also attended by Nauman Dar President & CEO, HBL along with senior management of both corporations.
Speaking at the occasion, Faiq Sadiq commented, "Considering the security issues that the general public has to face on a daily basis, HBL aims to provide its customers with a complete sense of security while withdrawing cash over HBL branch counters or ATMs. HBL Cash Mehfooz fulfils this requirement by offering a comprehensive low cost and convenient coverage to HBL customers."
