Pakistan People's Party's (PPP) Members of National Assembly (MNAs) on Thursday welcomed the formation of Judicial Commission to probe into PTI's alleged rigging allegations in the general election 2013. In a joint statement, Mir Ejaz Hussain jakhrani, Mir Munwar Talpur and Faqir Sher Mohmmad Balalani said the PPP had always been demanding of the government to form the Judicial Commission to investigate the PTI's allegations on alleged rigging in elections-2013 once for all.
The demand was in line of PPP's thought that the PTI had inflicted colossal loss to the country through sit-ins and had provoked the activists to attack the symbol of state, Pakistan Television, which was a shameful act and a blemish on democracy in Pakistan.
They said though the PTI had self-retreated from its gigantic demands such as the resignation of the Prime Minister, Speaker National Assembly and vowed never to return to the Parliament but the only face-saving demand for the investigations on alleged rigging in elections-2013.
However, the government despite much delay formed the Judicial Commission, which would through investigations unveil the truth behind PTI's allegations and thus the PTI won't find any excuse for protest on streets. While addressing the PTI's leadership, they said the PTI provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had bitterly failed to address people's grievances due to which a wave of strong unrest and frustration had gripped the people of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They advised the PTI's leadership to pay attention on people's problems in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa rather than creating chaotic scenario across the country.-PR
