Several changes were seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was lower by Rs 125 to Rs 12125 and Moong Afghan lost the same amount to Rs 13000, Urad Burma shed the same amount to Rs 11875, Guwar Sindh quoted higher at Rs 4900 and Rs 5000, Guwar Punjab low type was unchanged at Rs 4000 while the best quality was down by Rs 100 to Rs 4200, they said.
On the grams sector, gram Australia No 1 shed Rs 50 to Rs 5250, Grams Dall Australia fell sharply by Rs 550 to Rs 5350, Grams 50x50 was down by Rs 175 to Rs 5150, Grams dall 50x50 dropped by Rs 300 to Rs 5800, yellow peas Russia slipped by Rs 150 to Rs 3850 and yellow peas Dall Russia was lower by Rs 75 to Rs 4300, Gur low type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 6000 and the best quality was up by Rs 200 to Rs 6800, Khandsari gained Rs 100 to Rs 7000, they said.
On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh lost Rs 50 to Rs 3050 and Rs 3150, other types maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the seeds side, castorseeds Lasbela was down by Rs 200 to Rs 2400, castorseeds Sindh lost Rs 150 to Rs 2350 and Castor seeds Lakhra dropped the same amount to Rs 2500, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type was inert at Rs 1650 while the best variety was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 1700, they said.
