Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Raheel Sharif said on Tuesday that peaceful environment in and around Pakistan was top priority. Addressing officers at Bahawalpur Cantt, General Raheel Sharif said that no challenge was insurmountable adding, "Let's take Pakistan forward. Our greatest asset, youth must be encouraged and honed." The CoAS said as result of ongoing military operations, stability was returning in the country. "We cannot take focus away from targeting terrorism in Fata and breaking their linkage in rest of the country," he added.
According to Director General, ISPR, Maj Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa tweet on social media, the CoAS paid tributes to resilience, professionalism and sacrifices rendered by armed forces during ongoing fight against terrorism.
