The students from the backward area of Sindh province can avail scholarships for their brighten future. The scholarship programs offered by United State Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) are admirable and hope that the academia and students will get the maximum benefits from the scholarships.
Addressing on the occasion of awareness seminar of Fulbright Scholarship for MSc and PhD students held at Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam jointly organized by The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan, Professor Dr Muhammad Saffar Mirjat, Vice Chancellor, SAU Tandojam said that the USEFP Program for Pakistani citizens will be more helpful for the students of rural areas to get maximum benefits.
He further added that the USEFP program is also providing the opportunity to the graduates and post graduates of Sindh province to enrich their education and experiences for the knowledge economy of the country. He emphasized that the students should focus of career development and through the English language they can lead the world.
On the occasion, Miss Hina Javed, Educational Advisor, United State Educational Foundation in Pakistan at Karachi presented his presentation on the preparation of GRE and briefed the participants about scholarship program degree and non-degree students were informed that the total cost of education in US is approximately 120,000 US dollar for Masters and 220,000 US dollar for PhD programs through this scholarship USA Education Foundation will bear that cost.
On the occasion, Saif Jiskani, USA Educational and Cultural Advisor briefed the participants regarding the USA cultural program and he emphasized that the students from the backward area can be benefited from this scheme. On the occasion, Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Director, University Advancement and Financial Assistance appreciated the efforts of the USEFP for upgrading the knowledge of the SAU students for Fulbright Scholarship for MSc and PhD Students. Dr Kazi Suleman Memon, Fulbright Fellow, briefed the participants regarding the successful stories. Majority of the students, faculty members and scholar participated in the seminar.
