Ambassador of Kuwait Nawaf Abdulaziz A A Alenezi called on Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in Parliament House on Wednesday. While talking to the Ambassador, the NA Speaker said Pakistan attached importance to Kuwait being one of its brothers and an economic partner. He further said parliamentary interaction could add impetus in strengthening brotherly relations between both the countries.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underlined the need for enhancing economic co-operation between Pakistan and Kuwait in industrial, economic and power sectors. He said Kuwaiti investors could take advantage of immense economic potential in Pakistan. Ambassador of Kuwait Nawaf Abdulaziz A A Alenezi appreciated the sentiments of the Speaker and assured his government's all-out support to Pakistan in diverse fields. He said Kuwaiti Parliament was also keen to enhance its co-operation with National Assembly of Pakistan through Friendship Groups of both the countries. He was confident that fraternal relations between both the countries would further strengthen by frequent interaction between the parliamentarians and business community of the two brotherly nations.-PR
