POF holds national harmony workshop

The participants of National Harmony Workshop 2015 ongoing at National Defence University, Islamabad under the leadership of Professor Dr Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema (Dean FCS) visited POF on Thursday. On arrival at POF they were received by Muhammad Rizwan Director Industrial & Commercial Relations & Colonel Syed Agha M. Haseeb Haider (Retd) Director Exports.
In his welcoming remarks, Lieutenant General Omer Mahmood Hayat said that POF is the mother defence industry of the country which is not only meeting the defence requirement of the armed forces of Pakistan but also playing vital role in the development of the country. He further told that this defence industry established in the decade of fifty reflects the vision of our forefathers which is not only meeting the 100 percent requirement of the armed forces of Pakistan in terms of arms and ammunition but also exporting its products to more than 40 countries of the world by utilizing its surplus capacity.-PR
