Pakistan Businessmen and Intellectuals Forum (PBIF) President Mian Zahid Hussain has urged the government to provide a fool-proof security to soft targets to foil the nefarious designs of terrorists. Condemning the brutal and tragic attack on peaceful Ismaili community, Hussain expressed sympathies with the aggrieved families. He said that the government should leave no stone unturned in nabbing the masterminds of the gory crime.
He said that mere condemnation by top government functionaries and suspending few police officers was not enough, as the terrorists had brought a bad name to Pakistan by targeting a peaceful community. Hussain called for a policy shift to deal with the issue of terrorism. He said that Rangers and police were doing their best but government should equip them with latest anti-terror tools so that they were able to deal with the menace effectively. He also demanded an end to distinction between good and bad militants.
