Pakistan on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attack at a hotel in Kabul Wednesday night that killed a number of civilians, including two Pakistani nationals who were working in Afghanistan. "Such deliberate attacks on innocent civilians are highly condemnable and cannot be tolerated. Terrorism is our common enemy," said Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah.
He said that comprehensive and coordinated measures are imperative to root-out the menace from our region. "Pakistan reiterates condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations... Our deepest sympathies and condolences go to the families of the deceased", he added. Reports say that 14 people were killed in the attack including an American citizen, four Indians and two Pakistanis. Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.
