Doctors and nurses of Federal General Service's Hospital commonly known Polyclinic staged protest on Monday, demanding regularisation of jobs. A number of nurses and doctors of Polyclinic staged protest carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans in support of their demands. The contract doctors and nurses said that they are working in the hospital for the last many years therefore the government should extent their contracts and regularise their services.
The protesters threatened that if the government failed to fulfil their demands then the protest would be extended to other hospitals of the federal Capital and then countrywide protest would be launched. Due to hours long protest patients faced several hardships.
