The first HP Invitation Golf Tournament 2015 Pakistan held at Karachi Golf Club, here on Tuesday. Despite hot weather, 123 amateur golfers participated in this 18-hole premier event comprising golfers from leading MNCs, banks and financial institutions, utility and IT companies, and industrial sector.
The event was formally announced open by Vijay Balan, GM & MD AEC HP. In his welcome speech, Balan expressed his gratitude to the HP customers, partners and participants from the business community for their overwhelming response and participation.
The competition had six winners, three each from gross and net categories including two runner-ups and a winner. Besides main winners, special prizes were given for Longest Drive Women, Longest Drive Men and Nearest to the Pin.
The participants highly appreciated the seamless organisation of the event by the managers of the event 'Pegasus Consultancy'.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Aamer Khanzada on behalf of the golf community of Pakistan, extended thanks to HP for this premier initiative and announced the names of winners of the HP Invitational Golf Tournament 2015.
